Row 53 is a typo mistake, it was printed the same as row 51, but actually Row 53 should be:

Instruction for knit symbol should be 'Knit on both right and wrong side'. Because it is knitted in round.

Page 2, right column, second row group, first rectangle should be a
9 stitches rectangle. It is printed as 8 stitches rectangle. Picking up
from the selvedge of rectangle, not triangle.
Repeat row 2 and row 3 till counting to row 15, do not
turn. Now you will have a 9 sts rectangle knitted.
Second and all other rectangles in this group:
Row 1 (WS): pick up 8 sts along the selvedge of the
rectangle.
Edging part:
Total edge is 12 times. 6 times of first part, then
one row of dropped stitch, 6 times of the last part.
Total rows of edging is 25 rows. (6X2 + 1 + 6X2).
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for 5 more times, ending with Row 2.
Next Row: k1 tbl, *[drop next st off needle, p1, k1 tbl],
repeat from * till end;
Work in ribbing as follows:
Row 1: p1, *[k1 tbl, p1], repeat from * till end;
Row 2: k1 tbl, *[p1, k1 tbl], repeat from * till end;
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for 5 more times. ( two time in the
book).
